AFTER breakfast I get busy in the office with the souvenirs I’m making for the ‘voices of the loch’…I wanna get them out to them before release of Loch Lomond (Home) on Friday 22 October.

Catriona arrives with the kids and I hang out for a while then hit the studio to get some more of the radio promo out the way for the single release.

We’re having tteotbokki tonight and (;ve not been able to get Korean rice cakes in either See Woo or Chung Ying for ages, so I have an attempt at making them form scratch. Rice flours, glutinous rice flour and water then the resulting dough steamed for 20 minutes then formed and cut into rice cakes.

Last time I made them they were a bit of a disaster – this lot looks more promising. Still, it’s hard to shape and cut them.

Matty’s coming to stay for a few days and arrives early evening…I make dinner then we sit and chat for a while before having an early night.
