BEFORE my first Zoom guitar student I spend some time in the office on the next stage of prep for my souvenirs for ‘the voices of the loch’ folks.

After the lesson, I deal with some admin then nip out for a half-hour bike ride before lunch. I’m on a fats downhill when I find I have no back brake! My own fault as it’s been squealing for a while.

After lunch I get another bit of prep done on the ‘voices’ souvenirs then set up for a Zoom radio interview – then first of a few scheduled with radio folks to promote the forthcoming Loch Lomond (Home) single.

As part of my new email strategy to move away from one-a-month eNewsletters with a million messages and alls to action, I send a short, one-topic message out to folks on my mail list to remind them of tonight’s Wildcats’ livestream and if they’re not members, they are eligible for free membership.

I put some stuff together for the Wildcats’ livestream – think it’s time to have a wee bit of a regular format – maybe a couple of my own songs and a cover live, an archive video that folks are unlikely to have seen and some chat/promo along with the usual welcome to new wildcats, Spotify collaborative playlist and exclusive merch.

There’s time to nip out and do a few quick livestream trailers for later then I dash back for another Zoom guitar lesson.

The livestream goes to plan then I get back to the house for dinner. I chat with Matty for a while then spend another hour or so in the office on the ‘voices’ souvenirs. Just a couple more finishing stages and I should have them finished tomorrow.
