Some of the local Christmas decorations – available in Balmaha Village Shop or online at westhighlandwaygifts.co.uk

FIRST job is to get all the ribbons on the Christmas stuff for the village shop. Between the wood/acrylic hangers and wee slates it takes me a good hour an a half.

Once the order’s ready I generate the paperwork, update my stock spreadsheets and deliver the goods.

Back home I add the items to the West Highland Way Gifts’ online store and update the dealer section with the Christmas items. I also update the landing page on the website and cover image on the Facebook page.

I get a message form Fiona to see if I wanna go paddle boarding tomorrow. The weather looks like it’ll be perfect – and my paddle board has arrived – but my knee and wrist sadly aren’t in any condition to go. Hopefully I’ll be back to full strength soon and there’ll be some good days to get out on the water.

There’s some rice cake dough lest over for the eh other day so make a late tteotbokki lunch then hit the studio to work on my version of Blue Christmas. Need to get my shit together if it’s gonna be available in time!

Margaret’s been to the supermarket so I take a break to help put the shopping away then spend another hour or two in the studio before making pizza.
