ANOTHER 5am rise. A shower and some breakfast help wake me up then I make up some sandwiches and check all the gear before Martyn comes to pick me up.

Things are a bit more streamlined today and at least there’s a car park nearby the venue for the van.

I set up in the conference organisers’ room and check my schedule of required shots for the day then get busy. It’s pretty hectic but I get all the needed images and more fun the bag by the time we load out and hit the road just before 7pm.

I’m home by 8pm and spend a good few hours working not he photos. Adobe Lightroom is great but I can’t quite get my head round the need for internal laptop memory when it’s all built round cloud storage.
