THERE’S load of stuff to get out the way in the morning before I get the bus to the village…and someone’s coming to pick up an old chest of drawers I posted on facebook.

There’s a box of stuff, including some seasonal products, i need to get to the Village Hub shop in Drymen which is involved in Friday’s Christmas shopping evening.

There’s not enough time to walk both ways, but having taken the bus there, I enjoy the walk back then make a late lunch.

I knock up a batch of pizza dough with the poolish I made yesterday then make up a couple of burgers to go on the grill later for dinner then hit the studio.

Sunday’s show in Glasgow is gonna be a ‘fairly’ acoustic show…I say ‘fairly’ as we’ll still use a PA system but everything will go through one microphone. The PA int he venue isn’t that great so we’ll take my wee HK rig which will be plenty loud enough and is perfect for this kind of show.

I have a sudden panic, though, when I remember the router we normally use with the remote mixer is now plumbed into the studio…it’s been that long and more since we’ve used the mixer! There is a built in router but it’s not great and can be unreliable so I hit down an old BT Homehub which, thankfully is dual band which is required for best reliability as it means the network bandwidth is unaffected by ‘devices’ int he crowd.

Tehre’s a fair bit of setting up and jiggers-pokery involved in getting it to work but after a couple hours I get there. Might actually be a better solution than the bulky Netgear router we used to use.

Our pal Keiran’s coming this evening to chat through some changes/updates to the website/shop I put together for them a year or so ago. Ince we’re done I get the charcoal lit for the grill then we eat.

Later on I’ll getting peckish and eat a pack of Tyrell’s crisps. Within ten minutes I’m feeling a bit sick…and so it begins…another spewing episode. Every 20 minutes…
