I WAKE up around 7am felling a lot better. Still a bit off-colour, but nothing like the last 24/32 hours.

There’s loads of emails and social media stuff to catch up on then I do a wee bit of promo for the West Highland Way Gifts’ stuff I dropped at the Village Hub for Drymen’s Christmas shopping evening tonight (Friday).

A message came in form the doctor saying I can make an appointment for my covid booster. I call and arrange and also set up a telephone consultation with the doctor – we need to get to the bottom of what’s making me ill. We’ve tried allergy and intolerance testing, I don’t believe “it’s a virus” and with three episodes in a mo th we’re concerned something else might be the cause.

We have a late afternoon slot booked at the dump so spend a good couple of hours breaking down the old bed and other crap that’s been under the smoker shelter the last two or three weeks and load the car…our old bedroom carpet, underlay and a big black bin bag of old clothes also go in.

Our pals Fiona and Steven are coming for dinner – we’re doing pizza outside – so here’s a bit of food prep and some tidying up etc to do outside.

The trip to the dump goes OK and we manage to get rid of all the stuff…and pick up some extra shopping that we should have got yesterday.

We have a nice night with our pals – I take it easy on the food and drink as I wanna ease my inside back to ‘normality.’
