I GO out to the office to check the fridge, freezer and other supplies so I can make a meal plan for the next week…and a shopping list for Margaret.
The place is an absolute mess. West Highland Way Gifts raw materials, equipment and other supplies has taken over…plus the lights, heaters and stuff from the big gazebo were all shoved in there when the canopy blew off.
Now there’s a new canopy, I set about getting all the stuff back outside and ‘installed’ which clears a little space then I measure up for shelving units, go back to the house and get some ordered. Margaret won’t be happy with the ‘style’ or colour, but we can;t afford to spend a fortune and we just need to get the mess sorted. Pronto. Anyway, no-one’s ever in there to see how well-matched the furniture and fittings are!
There’s a couple of queries in from a web client which I deal with then it’s lunchtime.
I hit the studio and cue up my tax return which is now six months later than usual for me. Dunno what’s been holding me back from getting the bloody thing done. I go a walk up the lochside then tackle the tax return.
Other than a wee break to help unload and put away the shopping I’m at it until 8pm when I finally hit the ‘submit’ button. Done. Phew!
Before heading back to the house to make dinner I set up a Black Friday deal for my online merch store – 10% off across the board plus a surprise free gift with every order. I give the folks in my Wildcats’ Facebook group a heads up and early access to the code and schedule an emailout to my eMail list to go out tomorrow.
