We have a lovely lunch with Tom and Joyce at Betty and Joe’s….

STILL no power and its getting kinda cold.

Margaret rustles up a camp stove breakfast then I go out to the office and carry on building the shelving units.

We’ve been invited to Betty and Joe’s for lunch – our mutual pals Tom and Joyce are making some grub and bringing it…along with all the cutlery, dishes etc. They haven’t been hit by the power cut.

Nice to see everyone and Tom’s paella is magnificent!

Mid-afternoon we get back home and I finish building the last shelving unit using a head torch.

Indoors we get the wood burner going and sit and chat by firelight.

I’m not hungry, but Margret fancies fish and chips from the local pub and phones in an order. They have generators and stuff so been able to stay open through the power cut.

I go and pick up her grub – there’s too much, so I have some…not feeling like it for some reason tho’.

I grab a backgammon set and teach Margaret how to play and we while away a few hours helped along by a couple of glasses of red.
