WE HAVE the usual scrabble around top get things done before my Thursday morning guitar student arrives.
Her lesson goes well then I hit the studio to do a wee bit of design work for Will’s paperweight packaging.
Margaret’s made some soup for lunch then I go back to the studio and get on with some more work.
The big gazebo in the garden got completely fucked by the recent storm, so now we have a new canopy, but no frame! I contact the guy who sen the new canopy to see if they have any frames.
Meantime, still no word from the garage about the car. Margaret calls to be told there’s no news and they’ll call when there’s some progress.
Dinner its an experimental pizza bianco – a white béchamel sauce-style base rather than pasata – with smoked salmon, capers and rocket. Margaret quite likes it but I;m not impressed…and although the resulting pizzas look good, the crust isn’t my best effort.
