TODAY is all about preparing for tonight’s (Thursday) livestream concert.

Well, it should be, but first there’s some stuff needing done…then I get onto editing and posting a final promo video for tonight.

I make up a set list and rehearse some of it before going back to the house and making some arancini for lunch. Leftover risotto makes for a great lunch 😉

Re-setting the studio is a laborious process and talked longer – a lit longer – than I planned. Luckily Margaret has dinner in hand and an hour before the livestream is due to start (9pm) we have spaghetti bolognaise. And very good it is too.

Back in the studio we get the stream ready and….go! There’s no sound, though, and it’s because I forgot to press a button on the video switcher. I sort it in a jiffy bit a couple of songs in and it appears there’s a distortion problem. We’ve no idea why but there’s no time to mess around, so I decide to ‘go acoustic’.

Thereafter all goes well and we have lots of interaction and giveaway entries….’til tomorrow… 😉
