WE’RE up at a reasonable time despite our late night catching up.

After breakfast I take Alister a wander up the lochside and we blether for an hour or so. When we get back he hits the road and I get on with some work.

Things have been pretty hectic and we’ve not started our Christmas cards yet. Now is the time and we get stuck in and have a pile ready for the post office and post box int eh morning. We’re awful late with our international ones but better late than never!

Dinner is jambalaya and uses some of the chicken I smoked yesterday – de-boning the thighs and leaving the skin before smoking has made a big difference. Trying to get the bone out after the chicken’s cooked leaves things a bit shredded. So the jambalaya is good!
