FREYA jumps on me around 7am…I wake up briefly, say hello, fall asleep and the next thing I know it’s 10am.

Mikey’s away by the time I’m up. The rest of us sit round the table for breakfast then Catriona, Will and the kids pack all their stuff and head off.

Matty follows soon after – he’s going there for lunch along with his Dad and some others then coming back here for another night. When he gets back it transpires that his Dad and his partner were only able to communicate form afar as someone they’d been with in the last couple of days has tested positive for covid.

I spend a good few hours working on an album production and release plan for 2022. I want to have this in place and committed to it before New Year. I quite enjoy the process.

After turkey leftovers for dinner we settle down and watch a film – Echoes in the Canyon – which is pretty good…
