HAPPY New Year! And here’s hoping this time round we see some kind of return to ‘normality’.

It’s also the quietest New Year we’ve ever had…although I think I say that every year!

We have a lazy day and I tinker around with some budgets and stuff for my proposed 2022 studio album. There’s some industry folks I wanna talk to and I set up a meeting for Thursday afternoon. Until then, there’s no point in wasting time going down a route that my change.

The coming week’s diary is already filling up – online and ‘in person’ guitar students, an interview with a US-based journalist and some music industry meetings. I’m on a mission!

After dinner we go to first foot and Joe…it’s a bit late in the day and I guess Joe’s carer was the ‘real’ first foot. We’d avoided going along during the day as we thought they would’ve had a steady procession of visitors, but it turns out we’re the only ones.

We have a nice couple of hours blethering and reminiscing about past New Year’s days at Passfoot.
