YET another lie in – the last of the break as I need to get on the ball with stuff tomorrow (Monday)…

After breakfast I take a Stanley knife to the old sofa that’s been sitting outside under the gazebo since we got a new sofa in the hall back in the summer.

It was – and still is – way too big to take to the dump, so we put it outside temporarily and it stayed. We actually quite liked it, but there was ever only gonna be so long it could stay serviceable with the weather, even under the gazebo.

The time has come to try and break it down and get rid of it.

I cut out the bottom and investigate. It’s gonna be quite a task and will likely involve saw as and power tools…so that’s for another day as we’re heading to Doune to see Catriona, Will and the kids.

It’s a good opportunity for me to help set up Will’s Mailchimp email list management for Manson Glass. margaret and Catriona take the kids for a walk and I set up the apps and logins. The account was set up and has been gaining subscribers since I set up his website and Facebook page a few months ago, so it;s time to put out a welcome message and say happy new year to folks.

When we get home I spend some more time on the Manson Glass Mailchimp and set up an automatic ‘thanks for signing up’ message and tweak a few things here and there.

Then I spend a couple of hours trying to sort some server issues affecting a couple of websites of my own that I need to get back up and running….
