AFTER a serious beard trim and a shower I have breakfast then finalise some bits and bobs of artwork for Will.

In the studio I run my first guitar session of the day then deal with some web server issues that have reared their collective heads today – some time-consuming stuff that I hadn’t bargained for.

I make some bang bang cauliflower for lunch then go back to the studio for a video pre-production Zoom meeting with the Communities Housing Trust…a nice wee job I have to work on.

A Instagram post I saw yesterday inspired me to investigate cooking a wee bit of beef we have in the freezer using a sous vide method. We don’t have any fancy sous vide equipment or ‘wands’…but the Instant Pot has a sous vide function….and I can use a ziplock bag instead of a vacuum sealer.

It’s gonna take about four hours, so I get everything set up and go for a quick walk as darkness falls.

I have a bit of a scrabble around to prepare for this evening’s livestream into my Wildcats’ Facebook group before my final Zoom guitar session then I do my livestream – the beef turns out amazing. I’ll be experimenting more like this!
