THERE’S some stuff to be taken to the postbox before breakfast…which also gives me a chance to see how the loch is for p a potential paddleboard outing later on.
I have a guitar student coming to the house at 10am then I hit the studio. A security warning on my website alerts me to an SSL certificate issue which as it turns out, is t the provider’s end and is affecting a few of my sites. I lose the best part of an hour getting everything sorted out.
Back at the house I inflate the paddleboard and get as much preparation done to get out on the loch after my early afternoon Zoom guitar student.
Fiona arrives just as I’m finishing and gets her paddleboard inflated while I get into my wetsuit.
The sun has gone and it’s kinda chilly, but it’s still a lovely afternoon and the loch is flat calm. We head for Clairinch – a wee island south of Inchcailloch – then go round the island and back to the shore. It’s my longest expedition to date. It’s a great way to spend an hour before the sun goes down.
