FREYA wakes me with a cuddle at 7am…I speak for a wee while then fall back to sleep. Margaret gets up and gives the kids breakfast.

By the time I get up there’s some kind of chaos’s going on. Both kids greetin’ and screaming the place down. Seems like Aaron bit Freya.

After we have breakfast, we all go to feed the ducks then I go back to the studio and the others go to visit Betty.

When they get back we have lunch then Margaret takes Catriona and the kids swimming.

I spend the rest of the afternoon on some web stuff for a local business and realise time’s getting on a bit…I’d hoped to make – and eat – dinner before we go along to Betty and Joe’s. I suggested taking a guitar along to play some song for Joe and Betty had thought that’d be a good plan.

As it is, there’s no time to et before we go, so we have a quick sandwich and I leave the red beans, Tasso ham, Andouille and other stuff bubbling at a low heat on the cooker.

I’m not much good at playing covers but I work my way through a fair repertoire and we have a nice time…chatting between songs and enjoying a few glasses of red.

Joe gets tired quite early these days, so we generally try and leave around 10pm. We’re a little later tonight then when we get home I put on some rice and finish cooking dinner…
