I TAKE some stuff to the postbox before breakfast in the vague hope the loch might be clam enough for a quick paddle. Choppy as fuck. Oh well.

In the office I carry on with web stuff for both my own Buzz site and Not Too Shabby the furniture shop in Drymen. Also, it’s Burns’ day so I re-edit my video of MacPherson’s Lament and share it round social media.

Unsure what to have for lunch I rummage about and decide cheese and pickle sandwiches are the best option. A bit boring, but if I take a cycle up the lochside and have a picnic and Sallochy that’d switch things up a bit.

Turns out a great ’lunchhour’ albeit freezing.

There’s other web stuff to get busy with when I get home, plus some work on ideas for my planned new album and Zoom call with my pal Martyn to discuss some stuff he’s needing some help with.

It’s 8pm when I finally shut up shop and head for the house and dinner…
