I HAVE some Valentines’ gift ideas I wanna prototype. I don’t get very far before Catriona and Will drop off the kids – they’re away for the weekend and we’re babysitting.

One of the hotels in the village has a health club with a small swimming pool and Margaret joined up so she could take Freya there. Much easier than going to Callander.

Today, Aaron’s going too, so I join in to help out. The place is nice, although it could do with a little TLC –º especially in the changing rooms and general ‘housekeeping’. Good value for money tho’. And it’s pretty close by.

Margaret makes the kids mac’n’cheese while I hit the studio to do some work and when I get back to help get them ready for bed they’re already in bed and sound asleep!
