FREYA wakes me just after 7am…so I get up and make coffee while Margaret keeps her occupied.
I’d hoped I was fighting off the lurgy that Margaret’s had for the last week or so, but I think it’s got me. Sore throat, coughing up green stuff…yeuch!
Margaret and Freya are meeting Catriona and Arron at the swimming pool then all coming back here.
While they’re away I dye the batch of leather key fobs and notice that couple of them are a bit weird. Sometimes you get flaws etc on the leather that you don’t really see until you start the finishing process. I make a few spares then engrave some slate coasters for Betty.
It’s cold, wet and I’m feeling crap, but I don the DryRobe and take a walk to drop off the coasters. It’s the warmest and most comfortable I’ve been all day!
Back home I start editing then transcribing the final video interview for the Communities Housing Trust film then, once the kids have gone to sleep, make mushroom risotto…
