I‘VE just finished breakfast when my Thursday morning guitar student arrives. We’re earlier than usual this week as I have an online sync music conference all day…so we’re squeezing her lesson in before it starts.
The conference is run by AIM (Association of Independent Music) and I was lucky enough to get a ‘bursary’ place through the Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA).
The sessions are staggered so there’s plenty chance to go back to the house for coffee/lunch/toilet etc…and I even manage to get a few odds and sods of work done in between sessions.
Not much daylight left when the conference is done but I manage a wee walk up the lochside and drop in to Betty and Joe’s to help with a wee techie issue.
Margaret;’s on dinner tonight – feta and spinach filo pastry – so I crack open a beer and chill 🙂
