WE HAVE a bit of a long lie…and after a late breakfast we go to support the local community lunch.

Margaret’s gonna take the car ‘cos it’s raining, but I need a walk so don my waterproof jacket and wander the mile-and-a-half or so to the village hall.

Having just had breakfast I stick to the coffee. It’s nice to chat and catch up with so many local folks. A lot of them have been following my social media paddle board posts…and a there’s a few more enthusiasts it would appear.

That, combined with interest from some folks when we were out last night, prompts me to start up a wee Facebook group so folks can exchange tips and advice, buddy up for paddles and help introduce new folks to the sport.

We have a pretty lazy time the rest of the afternoon and I prepare some pizza stuff for later on….
