UP early to inflate the paddleboard and get out on the loch.

As forecast, the weather is perfect and the loch calm. I decide to head to Milarrochy and get halfway there when Niall, a member of my East Loch Lomond Paddlers group on Facebook, emerges form between the islands to join me.

He’s come all the way from Luss on the other side of the loch and is an experienced paddle boarder. When we get near Milarrochy he heads back and I paddle ashore for my coffee and a kitkat.

It’s a beautiful morning and I stop for another wee break at Manse Bay on the way back.

Having spent the morning on the loch I have a lot of work to catch up on and spend the afternoon in the studio – also get a bacon-wrapped pork loin on the smoker.

Later on I experiment with some merch production ideas in the office while the pork finishes off in the smoker.
