I’M kinda knackered after yesterday’s post-viral paddleboard effort and don’t even wake up ’til after 9am!

After clearing the decks of routine stuff I log on for my first Zoom guitar student of the day. Midway through the post drops a parcel at the studio door and after the lesson I investigate….it’s a couple of sample guitar cables form my old pal Dave Law who’s started new venture – the Music Cable Co.

He’d been in touch to see what I used and offered to akee me a cable for my radio transmitter pack…only thing is, I described the connector incorrectly and it doesn’t;t fit 🙁 My bad.

But…he also included a ‘regular’ guitar cable and it’s amazing! I set up to take a wee thank you/testimonial video and make a quick film.

After lunch I carry on but end up spending an inordinate amount of time trying to get the footage off one of the cameras…no idea why it’s causing such a problem today. I;m getting quite stressed when, by co-incidence, an oil diffuser I bought from amazon for the studio arrives. I plug it in, add some water and a few drops of lemongrass oil and…hey…it really does help me calm down!

I thought aromatherapy was a load of baloney but we were at Catriona’s the other day and she had one in the hall. Our granddaughter Freya was determined to show it to me and I was surprised at how much I liked it!

While the video footage is loading into he computer I go a walk up the lochside and do a couple of wee livestream promos for tonight’s Wildcats’ livestream.

Back home I do a wee bit of prep for the livestream, run another Zoom session with a guitar student then it’s onto the livestream.

It’s after 9pm when we sit down to dinner then tie up a few loose ends and head to bed.
