I WAKE early and decide on a paddle before breakfast. Pumping up the board just about breaks my back despite doing it in stages between making coffee and getting ready.

It’s quite windy but the loch’s not too rough so I head to Inchcailloch where I land, have a coffee and wander around a bit before paddling back.

A quick shower, breakfast then into the studio where I finishing off the draft version of a website I’m working on for a local AirBnB.

I have a Zoom guitar student before lunch and once both are done I hit the office to work on some merch production ideas.

I take a break to visit a neighbour who’s printer I;m trying to sort out…it’s not working over wireless/wi-fi and I;ve looked out a cable to try and it directly into her router. But it’s still not playing ball 🙁

My back’s hurting quite a bit and I’m putting it down to the effort pumping up the paddle board. My bank account; and credit card are both at their limit, but there’s enough floating around in my PayPal account to buy an electric pump.A bit extravagant but fuck it!

There’s a wood delivery outside the wood shed and I spend a good hour or more stacking it in the shed and am just finishing off when Margaret comes home with the shopping…
