AFTER a long lie I get into (and out of!) the shower, have a late breakfast and get to work in the office making a custom cake-topper for Catriona and Matty.

The film for the Communities Housing Trust has been signed off – there’s a tiny change to the end screen then I make a high definition version and send it off along with my invoice.

There’s a couple merch orders in. I pack them up and decide to cycle to the village so they get picked up today and delivered tomorrow. It’s a nice afternoon and I decide to come back via the West Highland Way…although it’s not been raining much there’s a pipeline being put in for a new hydro scheme further up the hill and the track form the West Highland Way into Milton of Buchanan is a quagmire. Needless to say both the bike and I are covered in mud which means a bike wash, dry and lube when I get back.

Fiona and I are gonna go paddle boarding early (7am) tomorrow so she comes along to put all my gear in her car ready for the morning. I’m just finishing off making pizza dough for tomorrow’s joint birthday celebration for Catriona and Matty. We have a couple of drinks, Matty arrives and we chat a while before Fiona heads off and we have dinner.
