Chicken ramen for lunch…

AFTER breakfast I jump in the car and head to Forth Valley Royal Hospital at Larbert. Forty-five miles away. For a covid swab.

It’s all in preparation for Monday’s endoscopy ‘procedure’. Why I couldn’t get it done closer to home fuck knows, but there you have have it. At least it’s a nice morning for a drive.

I get my test then make my way back to Stirling via the dump at Lower Polmaise to get rid of some cardboard – our cardboard bin was overflowing – then I pick up some shopping in town.

Back home I make chicken ramen for lunch and make some seasoned kikurage (wood ear mushroom) as one of the toppings. It works really well 🙂

There’s a list of stuff I need to do this afternoon – backing up my blog posts, setting up some online guitar sessions and some work to be done on the mixes of Iain Donald’s recordings from the other day.

Margaret has an early dinner made as we’re going to see Betty and Joe for a wee while later on…we have a nice night with them, wander home and have a relatively early night.
