ANOTHER early start – into Glasgow this time.

I drop Margaret off then head to the garage in Maryhill where I leave the car to be serviced.

After a roll and vegetarian sausage (I know, I know…but it was actually pretty good!) at Caffe Nero on Great Western Road I carry on up to Kirklee to drop in on a pal to see if I can sort their internet problems.

I have a spare router in my bag in case that’s the problem and, indeed, it’s a big part of the problem. There’s another couple of things that need sorted then we’re good to go. Dave is delighted 🙂

After a visit to the bank on Byres Road I bump into Shazer Khan who I know from his days doing radio stuff. We chat for a bit and he mentions he plays tabla and fancies a jam sometime. that’d be cool!

While waiting for a call to pick up the car I stop for a coffee and get some work done then take a wander back to the garage in perfect time to pick up the car. The bill’s not so perfect – more than £400. Two new front tyres, wishbone bushes and the service itself. Oooft.

I go and collect Margaret and we’re home in time for me to get some more work done then I make some blue corn tortillas and shredded beef for tacos….
