AFTER setting up a batch of fridge magnets I hit the studio and start putting together some content to promote both the upcoming Bandcamp livestream on 14 April and the Memorial Hall show on 23 April.
I take some photos and shoot some video, popping back too the office very so often to check on the fridge magnet production.
Margaret’s a way to Doune to get Freya, take her swimming and bring her back here for the night. I’d hoped to go paddleboarding at some point but the wind’s too unpredictable.
After lunch I carry on the stock production for the village shop until the laser throws a wobbler. I notice some weird engraving on the last batch of fridge magnets. This could mean trouble 🙁
I open up the machine, clean the mirrors, check the coolers then, when I open the head to clean the lens one of the holders falls out. Looks like it’s worked itself loose.
Once the machine’s re-assembled I run test and everything seems back to normal.Phew!
The unexpected break in production means I don’t have time to get out walk or anything and I need to finish editing the promo videos for social. I also put out an email to my list promoting both the online and ‘real’ shows.
Freya goes to bed around 7.30pm then I get things set up to make some pizza…
