THE ’Freya alarm’ jumps on me just after 7am…so I guess there’s no long lie for us this morning!

I’m planning a paddleboard session early afternoon so it’s a frantic effort to get all the West Highland Way Gifts’ stuff finished, packed and an invoice done so I can deliver to the shop before lunch.

Margaret’s taking Freya back to Doune and looking after her and Aaron while Catriona goes to get her hair done.

After dropping everything at the shop I make some cheese and pickle sandwiches and pack them in a dry bag with a coffee and head out on the loch. I go up the side of Inchcailloch and land on a wee pebbly beach for lunch.

Back home I wash down the board, dry it off, have a shower the hit the studio ’til Margaret gets back.

We head straight into Glasgow for a SNP social event with Ian Blackford MP. I drive so stick to one small glass of wine…until we get back home 😉
