Steamed bao buns,,,with caramelised pork belly, pickled cucumbers and hoisin sauce…

FOR no reason at all I sleep in…again. And there’s a lot on my to-do list today.

First up is a Zoom session with my regular Monday morning guitar student. We’ve been working on songwriting and he’s doing really well applying the ideas and pulling his first song together.

I make steamed bay buns for lunch – with caramelised pork belly, pickled cucumber and hot sin sauce. Delicious!

The interconnected smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarm system I ordered a while back finally arrived last week and needs to be set up and put up. The instructions are a little confusing and it takes an hour to get ’em all working.

I’m really keen to try and sort the audio/video sync issues with my live-streaming in a advance of tonight’s livestream into my Wildcats’ Facebook group. I investigate OBS plugins and then decide I’m better using the Universal Audio interface and good plugins than the freeware stuff that can be plugged directly into the streaming software.

The entire afternoon is spent experimenting with the audio and delaying it my millisecond to stay in sync with the video. I get both the camera mic and the main mic pretty close. We’ll see what happens this evening!

As it is the livestream goes pretty well. Still some very slight sync issues…not sure if I wanna mess about too much more tho’!
