ANOTHER grey day – cold and (very) wet outside – so no excuse not to get on with stuff in the studio!

Priority today the media/press stuff for the local show on Saturday 23 April. I get the news release written before a Zoom meeting with a musician in Estonia – she’s been invited to do a show at Edinburgh Fringe and wants to chat through some stuff.

I make a quick Kabuto noodle pot – vegetable laksa – for lunch then Fiona arrives for a coffee and a chat about our intended fundraiser for Scottish Mountain Rescue. We’re gonna take up their challenge and do the miles (55 each, to be precise) on paddle board.

We set up the fundraising page and team and make a plan to hit the press/meida next week when I get back from Wales.

Back in the studio I send out my concert news release to targeted press and radio folks and then take a look at my accounts. it’s year end and I haven’t touched ’em since last April!
