NOW that we’ve set up our fundraising profile for Scottish Mountain Rescue it’s time to start planning our media campaign.
Donations are pretty good so far, so we’ve got a good foundation so I draft a news release that we can put out with promo photo next week.
I have a midday Zoom session with a guitar student who’s coming on great then I make some tacos for lunch with last night’s ancho beef and butternut squash.
A courier delivers some wood slices I need for another batch of fridge magnets for the village shop and I get the production going then take a wander up the lochside – my first proper fresh air exercise since the weekend.
When I get back I finish off the magnets and let the varnish dry then do a little more work on my accounts.
We’re going to see Betty and Joe this evening and don’t want to be too late… especially as we leave for Wales at 5.30a…so I make an early dinner of velvetised chicken and mushrooms before we visit our pals….
