Still Friends – live at Memorial Hall….

MARGARET’s away into Glasgow early to get the car fixed – seems like the nearside rear brake callipers have seized and the pads stripped 🙁

I get prepared for my ‘in-person’ guitar student and the subsequent lesson goes well.

In the studio I work on the video edit of a couple of banjo songs from last Saturday’s village hall show. The video files are 4k and shot in log, so things move slowly on my old Mac. While they’re ‘processing’ I change over the fins on the paddleboard to a single low-profile ‘river’ fin then go out for a quick paddle in the shallows.

The fin work well in the very shallow water, but it’s difficult to keep the board going in a. straight line!

When I get back the video hasn’t;t process as there’s not enough memory in the computer. I can’t find a way of getting the software to export the finished edit to an external drive so I clear out some stuff and start the process running again.

Margaret’s come back via Doune to pick up Freya who’s staying tonight. I go back to the house and entertain her for a wee while before bed then embark on tonight’s mushroom risotto.
