AFTER a trip to the village shop to pick up some milk and show Keith the prototype ‘Balmaha’ pencil I rush home with an order for a tub of fifty of said pencils.
Having already made a jig so I can slot a bunch of pencils for processing at the same time I look for more ways to save time – like finding a single line font that will score rather than engrave. Takes longer than I expect but it pays off as I get the actual job done in about a tenth of the time it would taken had I not set up the new process.
I have a midday Zoom session with one of my guitar students then have some lunch before delivering the pencils to the shop.
After a bit of deliberating, I decided to use the upcoming single release – Wanted (Dead or Alive) – as real-life subject matter for the assignments I’ve to do to finish up the music branding course I’ve been doing.
I embark on a video idea which takes the rest of the day to film and edit. I’m pleased with the result.
We’ve been invited along to Betty and Joe’s for an aperitif…knowing how it might go, I make up some Italian sausage sugo so dinner will be quick and easy when we get back. Just as well, as it’s 10,30pm before we get back..and we’re both starving 🙂
