I’M pretty burst when the early alarm goes off. Breakfast and then on my way to the school in Blloch for a morning doing music with a bunch of kids.

When I get back it’s straight into the studio to join a Zoom meeting with my fellow directors of the local community hydro scheme.

After lunch I get a few more bits of work done before we hit the road for Irvine.

The sun’s shining when we get to the Harbour Arts Centre. Sandman Rory helps us load in and we have a relaxed and good set up/soundcheck.

A few weeks ago I’d been worried about numbers for the show but booking steadily grew and we have a great crowd. And we both really enjoy playing :–)
