THERE’S some brass guitar pins to be made to replenish the merch case for Sunday’s XS Festival in South Wales. I get production started and also look out some insulated tumblers and cups that are already engraved…. and put aside a couple of trekking flasks to engrave later.
In the studio I start the pre-record of Sunday’s radio show – and don’t stop ‘til I’ve got it in the bag. Fingers crossed it all plays OK on Sunday evening!
While I’ve been recording various bits and bobs I need for Sunday’s show have been charging…now it’s time to run through some of the songs that I struggled to remember (lyrically) the other day. Ooooffftt!
It’s windy outside, but no rain. Having got most of today’s to-do list out the way I got a wander up the lochside and take the hammock…stopping on my return journey for ten minutes’ chill time listening to the waves and watching the clouds form the hammock. No bed for a bug net ‘cos of the wind…and the whole thing takes less than a minute to put up and take down. Amazing!
Back in the office I finish off the batch of brass guitar pins and get the pins and backs sorted out before tacos for dinner.
